Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains what data we collect, what can be deleted, and how to submit a deletion request.

What Data Do We Collect?

AliMedia is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We primarily work locally in your browser. However, we may collect the following:

• Support emails: If you contact us via email, we retain your email correspondence
• Bug reports: Information you provide when reporting bugs or issues
• Feature requests: Suggestions and feedback you send to us

We do not collect:

• User accounts or login credentials (AliMedia doesn't require accounts)
• Browsing history or activity data
• Download history or statistics
• Personal information from the extension itself

What Can Be Deleted?

You can request deletion of:

• Support email correspondence: Emails you've sent to us and our responses
• Bug reports: Reports you've submitted (if identifiable)
• Feature requests: Suggestions you've sent (if identifiable)

What Cannot Be Deleted?

The following cannot be deleted because they don't exist in our systems:

• Extension usage data: We don't track or store how you use the extension
• Download history: Downloads happen locally in your browser - we don't have access to this data
• Browser data: Any data stored locally in your browser is managed by you, not us

Additionally, we may be required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes, even after a deletion request.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data, please:

1. Send an email to b.collette0023@gmail.com
2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
3. Include the following information:
   • Your name
   • The email address you used to contact us (if applicable)
   • A clear statement that you want to delete your data
   • Any specific data you want deleted (e.g., "all support emails")

Processing Timeline

Verification

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. This helps ensure that only you can request deletion of your data.

Extension Data

The AliMedia extension operates locally in your browser. Any data it uses (such as downloaded images) is stored on your device, not on our servers. To delete extension-related data:

• Delete downloaded files from your computer's download folder
• Clear browser data if the extension stores any local data (check Chrome's storage settings)
• Uninstall the extension if you want to remove it completely

Your Rights

In addition to deletion, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we have about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Objection: Object to processing of your data (where applicable)
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format (where applicable)
