Getting Started
- Install AliMedia from the Chrome Web Store
- Navigate to an AliExpress or Alibaba product page (e.g., a product listing)
- Click the AliMedia extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
- Select the images or videos you want to download, or click "Download All"
- Your downloads will appear in your browser's default download folder
Troubleshooting
Downloads Not Showing
- Check your browser's download settings - make sure downloads aren't blocked
- Verify you're on a valid AliExpress or Alibaba product page
- Try refreshing the page and clicking the extension icon again
- Check if your browser's pop-up blocker is interfering
- Ensure the extension is enabled in Chrome's extension settings
WEBP Images
Some images may download in WEBP format. This is normal - WEBP is a modern, efficient image format supported by most image viewers and editing software. If you need a different format, you can convert WEBP images using online converters or image editing software.
Extension Permissions
AliMedia needs permission to access AliExpress and Alibaba pages to download images. If you see permission prompts, click "Allow" to enable the extension to work. Learn more about why we need these permissions.
Blocked by Browser Settings
- Check Chrome's site settings - ensure downloads are allowed for aliexpress.com and alibaba.com
- Verify that third-party cookies aren't completely blocked (some sites require them)
- Check if any security extensions are blocking AliMedia
- Try disabling other extensions temporarily to see if there's a conflict
Extension Not Working
- Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome or Chromium-based browsers)
- Check that the extension is up to date in Chrome's extension management page
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension
- Restart your browser

- Page URL: The AliExpress or Alibaba product page where the issue occurred
- Steps to reproduce: Detailed steps that led to the problem
- Expected behavior: What should have happened
- Actual behavior: What actually happened
- Screenshots: If applicable, include screenshots or screen recordings
- Error messages: Any error messages you saw (check the browser console if possible)
